Ron support
Delete your account.
You can permanently delete your Ron account and its data at any time. Here is how, and exactly what happens when you do.
Delete from within the app
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in Ron:
- Open Ron.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm. You will be asked to re-authenticate so we know it is really you.
This starts a permanent deletion. It is not a deactivation and it cannot be undone.
If you cannot sign in
If you no longer have access to the app or your account, email privacy@kfdigital.studio from the email address on the account with the subject “Account deletion request.” We will verify that you own the account before deleting anything, and we will confirm by email once it is done.
We action verified requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your account and profile
- Your household, its members, and their profiles
- Chores, schedules, reminders, and task history
- Information about children in your household, including anything created in Kids Mode
- Your conversation history with Ron
What may be retained, and why
A small amount of information may be kept after deletion where we are legally required to or where it is necessary to run the business:
- Transaction and tax records. Purchase records are retained where tax and accounting law requires it. Note that App Store purchases are processed by Apple, not by us.
- Security and abuse records. Limited logs may be retained where needed to protect our services.
- Backups. Data may persist in encrypted backups for a short period before those backups age out on their normal rotation.
Retained records are not used to rebuild your account or to market to you.
Your subscription
If you have a paid subscription purchased through the App Store, deleting your account does not automatically cancel it. Subscriptions are managed by Apple — cancel yours in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. We recommend cancelling before you delete your account.
